Low Backline Pressure or LBP conveyors are generally used to transport multipacks or finished packs and give accumulation sections in packaging areas. This reduces the pressure from pack to pack on infeed of  palletisers, packers, etc. LBP conveyors are frequently used for multi-lane conveyors around shrinkwrappers or multipack machines. The multi-lane conveyors will frequently incorporate roller rails on the lane guiderails. This can be manually or automatically adjusted.

When transporting multipacks or loose bottles on the infeed or discharge of packaging/shrinkwrap/multipack machines, invariably there are numerous packaging options and therefore frequent adjustment of multi-lane guiderails is required. These guiderails normally incorporate numerous adjustable handles sometimes in excess of 100 and can therefore take a long while to make a size change.
